Downtown Pompano Beach kicks off the weekend with the Old Town’s Backyard Jam Concert Series, held every third Friday of the month near Bailey Contemporary Arts. School Girls, Or the African Mean Girls Play

One of Pompano Beach’s best recurring community events returns for its new season. Old Town Untapped transforms downtown Pompano into a free cultural arts and music block party with live music, local artists, gallery openings and food trucks. The October event features MAMA FUMA, bringing funk, soul and high-energy grooves to the stage. It’s free and family-friendly, and chairs and blankets are welcome.
