Join the dedicated volunteers on Saturday, September 20th, from 9 AM to 12 PM, for the 40th annual International Coastal Cleanup. Sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy, this worldwide event unites over a million volunteers in more than 122 countries to remove trash and debris from our beaches and waterways. Last year, Broward County volunteers alone collected nearly 3,100 pounds of trash!

This year, you can be part of that success story by contributing to a cleaner, healthier beach for everyone. It’s a fantastic way to give back to the community and enjoy the beauty of the Pompano Beach shoreline. All participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, hat, gloves, and sunscreen. You can make a big impact by bringing your own 5-gallon bucket to help reduce plastic bag usage.

To participate, simply sign in at Pavilion #1, located just south of the pier. Limited free parking is available in the grass lot north of Atlantic Blvd, with the entrance on the A1A side at 20 N South Ocean Blvd, Pompano Beach. For more details on the event and other cleanup locations, you can visit the official website.
